The MCR SAFETY 39030XXL is a flame-resistant fabric welding jacket designed to protect workers in high-heat and spark-exposure environments. Cut to a 30-inch length, it provides extended torso coverage beyond standard jacket lengths, reducing exposure during overhead and positional welding work. An interior pocket adds on-body storage for small tools or documents. This jacket is sized XXL and is intended for use by welders, fabricators, and other trade professionals working around open flame, spatter, and radiant heat on industrial and commercial job sites.
This welding jacket is suited for MIG, TIG, and stick welding applications in both shop and field environments. The 30-inch body length makes it a practical choice for flat, vertical, and overhead welding positions where shorter jackets leave the lower torso exposed. It is sold individually and is appropriate for daily wear in manufacturing, structural fabrication, pipefitting, and general ironwork settings where FR outerwear is required by site safety programs or OSHA standards.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-issue FR welding jacket for use in industrial, commercial, and field welding applications requiring flame-resistant outerwear.
This garment should be inspected before each use for burns, tears, or contamination that could compromise FR performance. Do not launder with bleach, fabric softeners, or starch, as these can degrade flame-resistant properties. FR garments should be worn over base layers that also meet applicable flame-resistant or non-melting fiber standards per NFPA 70E or site-specific PPE programs. Damaged or heavily soiled FR jackets should be removed from service immediately.
