The MCR Safety 3881X5 is a flame resistant coverall designed for workers in environments where flash fire, arc flash, or chemical splash hazards are present. Constructed with a 0.42mm PVC/Nylon/PVC laminate, this coverall provides a durable outer shell that resists ignition while the nylon scrim layer adds structural integrity and tear resistance. The green colorway allows for easy visual identification on job sites. It is sized at X5 for large-frame workers and is sold individually. HVAC technicians, industrial maintenance crews, and chemical plant workers are the primary installers and users of this type of protective garment.
This coverall suits applications in industrial, petrochemical, utility, and heavy commercial environments where workers face intermittent exposure to flame, molten splash, or chemical spray. The PVC/Nylon/PVC construction is well suited to outdoor and wet-condition job sites where both flame resistance and liquid repellency are required. It is appropriate for tasks such as furnace servicing, pipe work in chemical facilities, and electrical utility maintenance where protective outerwear is mandated by site safety programs.
Designed as a general-purpose flame resistant coverall suitable for industrial maintenance, utility, petrochemical, and heavy commercial applications where whole-body FR protection is required by site safety standards.
This garment is donned and inspected by the worker or a safety supervisor before each use. Inspect the coverall for tears, compromised seams, or degraded material before entering a hazardous area. Follow facility PPE programs and applicable OSHA and NFPA standards for proper selection and use of flame resistant outerwear. Do not use if the garment shows signs of chemical saturation, delamination, or physical damage that compromises its protective integrity.
