The MCR Safety 36336M is a select-grade grain goatskin leather driver glove designed for trade and industrial work environments where grip, dexterity, and hand protection are all required. Goatskin leather retains natural lanolin, which keeps the material supple and soft while delivering strong tensile strength and above-average tactile sensitivity. The padded palm reduces impact and vibration at the hand, and the back of the hand is fitted with a thermoplastic rubber (TPR) overlay rated at ANSI Level 1 impact protection. Double stitching with Kevlar thread reinforces high-stress seams for extended service life in demanding conditions.
This glove is suited for general trades work, light industrial applications, and any task in an oily or wet environment where grip retention matters. The oil-blocking technology built into the leather helps prevent petroleum-based fluids from saturating the material, keeping the glove functional longer in shop, mechanical, or field settings. The shirred elastic back allows a snug fit across a range of hand sizes within the medium category, and the keystone thumb construction reduces seam pressure at one of the most common wear points. Electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, pipefitters, and general maintenance workers are the typical end users.
Designed as an OEM-style driver glove for medium-handed trade professionals requiring leather hand protection with impact resistance in general industrial or field-service applications.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, worn seams, or degraded TPR panels. In electrical work contexts, confirm the glove's insulation rating is appropriate for the voltage level being serviced, as leather driver gloves are not rated as primary electrical insulating PPE. Replace when leather shows cracking, seam separation, or oil saturation that cannot be cleaned. Follow your employer's PPE program and applicable OSHA hand-protection requirements for glove selection.
