The MCR SAFETY 1735XL is a heavy-duty double-palm work glove built for demanding manual labor in construction, lumber handling, and industrial trades. It features two layers of select side split cowhide leather in the palm and fingers, a full leather back, and a reinforced thumb crotch. The entire glove is sewn with heat-resistant DuPont Kevlar thread for exceptional seam strength. Interior construction includes an 8 oz. jersey palm lining and a 9 oz. cotton canvas back. A 2.75-inch rubberized safety cuff rounds out the build. This glove is sized X-Large and sold as a pair.
The 1735XL suits trades professionals in applications where abrasion resistance, cut protection, and grip durability are critical. Typical install or work scenarios include lumber and material handling, structural framing, utility line work, heavy equipment operation, and general construction. The true double-palm construction makes it well-suited for high-friction repetitive tasks where single-layer gloves wear through quickly. The CE-approved design means it meets recognized European safety standards, making it appropriate for jobsites that require documented PPE compliance.
Designed as an OEM-style work glove for trade professionals requiring heavy-duty leather palm protection in construction, lumber, and industrial environments. This listing is for the X-Large size.
Inspect gloves before each use for leather cracking, seam separation, or cuff damage that could compromise protection. Replace immediately if structural integrity is compromised. Follow applicable jobsite PPE requirements and OSHA hand protection standards when selecting and using these gloves. Do not expose to open flame or welding arc — while the Kevlar thread is heat-resistant, the glove is not rated as a welding glove.
