The MCR Safety 1714 is a heavy-duty leather palm work glove built for rugged industrial and trade environments. The glove features an A+ side leather palm paired with a 3/4-length leather back for extended hand protection. Stitching is done with DuPont Kevlar thread, which resists heat and abrasion to extend glove life under demanding conditions. An 8 oz. jersey palm lining adds comfort during extended wear, while a 4.5-inch rubberized safety cuff protects the wrist from debris and impact. This glove is sold as a pair and sized for X-Large hands.
The 1714 is suited for heavy construction, ironwork, pipefitting, rigging, and general industrial labor where hand and wrist protection from abrasion, cuts, and heat exposure is required. The cotton canvas back with 9 oz. construction provides durability across repeated use cycles. The fully in-sewn fleece lining on the thumb and little finger adds targeted protection in high-wear zones. Trade professionals working in fabrication, maintenance, and site work will find this glove appropriate for daily-use conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style work glove for X-Large hand sizing in heavy-duty industrial and trade applications where leather palm protection and a safety cuff are required.
No installation required. Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or degraded stitching that may reduce protection. Replace immediately if the leather palm or Kevlar stitching shows significant wear. Store in a dry location away from direct heat sources to preserve leather integrity.
