The MCR Safety 1700K is a heavy-duty leather palm work glove built for demanding industrial and construction environments. The palm and fingers are constructed from heavy select, chrome-tanned side split cowhide leather, offering strong abrasion resistance where contact and wear are highest. Seams are sewn with heat-resistant Kevlar thread for added durability under stress. A non-woven Kevlar lining adds cut resistance throughout the glove interior, while a cotton canvas back and a 2.75-inch rubberized safety cuff round out the construction. Licensed electricians, pipefitters, ironworkers, and general tradespeople working in heavy fabrication or construction are the primary users of this glove.
The 1700K is suited for heavy industrial tasks including handling sharp materials, structural steel work, pipe handling, and general construction labor where both abrasion and cut resistance are required. The safety cuff extends protection to the wrist and lower forearm, making it appropriate for tasks with overhead work or debris exposure. This glove is sold as a pair and sized X-Large for workers requiring a larger fit. Minimum order quantity is 12 pairs per the supplier packaging unit.
Designed as an OEM-style work glove for heavy industrial, construction, and general trade applications requiring leather palm protection with cut-resistant lining.
Work gloves require no installation. Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, punctures, or seam failures that could compromise protection. Replace gloves when wear through or seam separation is detected on the palm or Kevlar lining. Follow applicable OSHA hand protection standards and site-specific PPE requirements when selecting and using protective gloves.
