The MCR Safety 1420AS is a leather palm work glove built for trade professionals who handle pipe, wood, and metal on the job. The palm is constructed from A-grade select shoulder leather, one of the most durable cuts available from cowhide, offering solid abrasion resistance without excessive stiffness. A cotton back with 8 oz fleece palm lining adds comfort during extended wear, while the knit wrist cuff provides a secure, adjustable fit that helps keep debris out. A leather knuckle strap rounds out the construction with added protection at a high-contact area.
These gloves are suited for general trades work including plumbing, carpentry, electrical rough-in, and light fabrication where hand protection from rough materials is required. The small sizing makes them appropriate for technicians and installers who need a closer-fitting glove without sacrificing coverage. The blue and yellow striped fabric back makes them easy to spot on a work surface or in a toolbox. Sold in pairs, with a minimum order quantity of 12 pairs per order.
Designed as a general-purpose leather palm work glove suitable for plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry trade applications requiring hand protection from rough or abrasive materials.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or compromised stitching that could reduce protection. Leather palm gloves are not rated for electrical arc flash or high-voltage work and should not be used as a substitute for rated electrical PPE. Replace gloves when the palm leather shows significant wear or the knit wrist cuff loses elasticity.
