The MCR SAFETY 1420A is a leather palm work glove designed for trade and industrial environments where hand protection against abrasion, rough materials, and sharp edges is essential. Built with A-grade select shoulder split cowhide leather on the palm, the 1420A delivers reliable cut and abrasion resistance for daily use. A knit wrist cuff provides a secure, comfortable fit that keeps debris out and reduces fatigue during extended wear. An 8 oz fleece palm lining adds comfort without significantly bulking up the glove profile. Typically installed by the user in the field, these gloves are sized for large hands and sold in pairs.
The 1420A is suited for general trade work including pipefitting, carpentry, ironwork, and material handling. The cowhide leather palm stands up to contact with pipe, lumber, metal stock, and similar jobsite materials. The blue and yellow striped fabric back and leather knuckle strap round out the construction, making this a practical choice for HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and general contractors who need durable hand protection on residential and commercial job sites.
Designed as a general-purpose leather palm work glove suitable for a wide range of trade and industrial hand-protection applications.
Don and inspect gloves before beginning work. Check the palm and stitching for wear or damage before each use, and replace when material integrity is compromised. Leather gloves are not rated for electrical arc flash or high-voltage work unless specifically certified for those hazards.
