The MCR SAFETY 1418XXL is a 2X-Large cowhide leather palm work glove built for heavy trade and industrial use. The palm and full leather back are cut from A-select shoulder split leather, one of the tougher grades of cowhide available for protective gloves. A 4.5-inch plasticized gauntlet cuff extends wrist and forearm protection while remaining launderable, reducing replacement cycles in high-use environments. Color-coded hems simplify size identification when gloves are stored in a shared toolbox or vending unit. These gloves are suited to HVAC techs, pipefitters, electricians, and general construction trades handling pipe, conduit, sheet metal, lumber, and similar abrasive or sharp materials.
The 1418XXL fits standard heavy-duty trade applications where a durable leather palm glove with extended cuff coverage is required. The gauntlet-style cuff provides added protection against debris and sparks at the wrist, making these gloves appropriate for light welding-adjacent tasks, pipe handling, and rough material staging. The blue and yellow striped fabric accent aids in quick visual identification on the job site. Sold in pairs, with a minimum order quantity of 12 pairs per the supplier packaging unit.
Designed as a general-purpose leather palm work glove for trade professionals requiring abrasion and impact protection during pipe handling, material staging, and similar construction or mechanical service tasks.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or degraded leather that may compromise protection. Follow applicable OSHA hand protection standards (29 CFR 1910.138) when selecting gloves for specific hazard exposures. Launder the plasticized gauntlet cuff according to the manufacturer care instructions to maintain cuff integrity. Replace gloves when the palm leather shows significant wear or the cuff loses its structural stiffness.
