The MCR Safety 1417A is a cowhide leather palm work glove built for trade professionals who handle pipe, lumber, and metal fabrication on a daily basis. The palm and full leather back are constructed from A-select shoulder split cowhide, the highest-grade split leather cut from the shoulder section of the hide, which offers a strong combination of abrasion resistance and pliability. A 2.5-inch plasticized safety cuff protects the wrist and lower forearm while remaining easy to launder. Color-coded hem stitching allows fast size identification when pulling gloves from a shared work bag or supply shelf.
These gloves are suited for general construction, mechanical trades, pipefitting, ironwork, and light material handling where a durable leather palm is preferred over synthetic alternatives. The full leather back adds protection against incidental contact with rough or sharp surfaces. The plasticized cuff keeps debris from entering the glove during overhead or confined-space work. Supplied as a pair, they are sized Large and intended for professional job-site use where hand protection standards are required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-supply work glove for general trade and construction applications requiring ANSI-compliant leather hand protection in a Large size.
These gloves are donned and doffed by hand without tools. Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, punctures, or delamination of the leather palm that could reduce protection. Replace immediately if the palm or cuff shows signs of significant wear or structural compromise. Follow your site or employer hand-protection program for proper glove selection and replacement intervals.
