The MCR SAFETY 1300 is a general purpose cowhide leather work glove designed for tradespeople who need durable hand protection across a range of job-site tasks. Constructed from B-grade select shoulder cowskin leather, the palm delivers ANSI/ISEA Abrasion Resistance Level 4 performance, making it a reliable choice where repeated contact with rough surfaces, tools, or materials is part of the daily routine. A fleece-lining and blue fabric back with red and black stripes complete the construction. The 2.5-inch rubberized safety cuff provides wrist coverage and helps keep debris out during use. These gloves are sold as a paired set and sized for large men or medium women.
The MCR SAFETY 1300 is suited for general purpose applications across construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical rough-in, and light industrial work. The smooth leather palm and full-fingered design give the wearer reasonable dexterity for handling fittings, fasteners, ductwork, and hand tools. The wing thumb construction reduces seam pressure in the high-wear thumb saddle area, extending service life during gripping tasks. At 10.2 inches overall length, the glove provides coverage from fingertip to mid-forearm area with the rubberized safety cuff in place. This model was formerly marketed under the Memphis Glove brand name.
Designed as an OEM-style general purpose work glove suitable for trade professionals in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and construction applications requiring leather palm protection with a safety cuff.
Work gloves require no installation. Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or leather separation that may compromise protection. Replace immediately if the palm leather is worn through or the rubberized cuff is cracked. Follow employer PPE programs and applicable OSHA hand protection requirements when selecting gloves for specific hazard levels.
