The MCGUIRE LF175LKF is a flexible chrome-plated lavatory supply line designed for connecting a shut-off valve to a lavatory faucet inlet. It features a 1/2-inch copper sweat inlet on one end and a 3/8-inch OD compression outlet on the other, making it a common configuration for residential and light commercial bathroom rough-in work. The loose key flange with escutcheon provides a clean wall finish where the supply tube exits the wall or floor. Licensed plumbers install this type of fitting during fixture trim-out after rough-in is complete.
This supply line is suited for lavatory faucet connections in residential bathrooms, hotel guest rooms, and light commercial restrooms. It is typically used where the supply stub-out is a copper sweat connection and the faucet inlet accepts a 3/8-inch OD compression fitting. The chrome-plated finish coordinates with standard chrome faucet and valve trim.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install supply line for lavatory faucets requiring a 1/2-inch copper sweat supply connection and a 3/8-inch OD compression faucet inlet.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before soldering the sweat connection or making compression fittings. Do not overtighten the compression nut at the faucet inlet, as this can crack the fitting seat. Inspect all connections for leaks after restoring water pressure.
