The MATCO-NORCA b-t03 is a straight brass tee fitting designed for use in residential, commercial, and industrial piping systems. Machined from brass meeting ASTM B62 and ASTM B584-93B material specifications, this fitting provides reliable flow distribution at a 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch junction. All three ports feature female threaded (FPT) end connections conforming to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1, making installation straightforward with standard threaded pipe and fittings. The Class 125 pressure rating suits a wide range of low- to medium-pressure plumbing and fluid distribution applications. NSF 372 compliance confirms low lead content, meeting requirements for potable water service.
This fitting is suited for water supply lines, plumbing rough-in, hydronic distribution, and general fluid handling where a threaded brass tee is required. Its Class 125 rating and compliance with ANSI B16.18/B16.3 make it appropriate for both new construction and retrofit work across residential and light commercial settings. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the typical installers, though experienced mechanical contractors also use this fitting in process and industrial piping assemblies.
Designed as an OEM-style threaded brass tee for use in 1/2 inch NPT piping systems across residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing and fluid distribution applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Shut off and depressurize the water or fluid supply completely before disassembling any piping. Apply thread sealant tape or compound to male threads before making up the connection, and tighten to snug plus a wrench-assisted quarter to half turn — do not overtighten brass fittings. Pressure-test the assembly after installation before returning the system to service.
