The MATCO-NORCA 26-1015plf is a lead-free, chrome-plated brass quarter-turn angle stop valve designed for residential and light commercial plumbing supply connections. It features a 1/2-inch press inlet and a 1/4-inch OD compression outlet, allowing it to connect copper press-fit supply lines directly to small-diameter supply tubes without soldering at the stop valve. Rated to 125 psi and a temperature range of 32 degrees F to 160 degrees F, this valve meets the demands of standard domestic water supply service. The one-piece body construction reduces potential leak points and supports long-term reliability under normal operating pressure. cUPC and NSF/ANSI 61 certification confirms the valve is suitable for potable water systems.
This angle stop is used in residential and commercial rough-in applications where a shutoff is needed between a wall supply stub-out and a fixture supply tube. Typical installations include under sinks, lavatories, toilets, and similar fixture connections where the press inlet eliminates the need for an open-flame solder joint at the stop location. The 1/4-inch compression outlet accepts standard small-bore supply tubing. The chrome finish suits exposed installations in finished spaces where appearance matters alongside function. Licensed plumbers and qualified plumbing contractors are the primary installers for this type of valve.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation angle stop for residential and light commercial plumbing systems requiring a 1/2-inch press inlet and a 1/4-inch OD compression outlet on a quarter-turn angle stop configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the main water supply and relieve line pressure before beginning work. The press-fit end requires an approved press tool and correct jaw size for the pipe diameter — do not attempt to improvise the press connection. Verify the compression nut and ferrule are fully seated on the supply tube before pressurizing the system and checking for leaks.
