The MASTER LOCK CO 3SSKADHC is a laminated steel padlock built for demanding outdoor and industrial applications. The body is constructed from layered laminated steel with a protective weather-resistant coating, providing durability against corrosion and physical abuse. The stainless steel shackle delivers superior cut and weather resistance compared to standard hardened steel shackles. Shackle length is 0.75 inches and shackle diameter is 0.28 inches (9/32 inches). The 1.5-inch body width suits a wide range of hasps, chains, and gate hardware. This padlock is sold in a keyed-alike set of six, making it well suited for facility managers, contractors, and service professionals who need multiple locks on a single key.
This padlock is intended for use on job site equipment boxes, storage containers, utility enclosures, gates, and chain link fencing where weather exposure is a factor. The keyed-alike-in-sixes configuration allows a single key to operate all six locks in the package, reducing key management burden across a fleet of equipment or a multi-point access installation. The laminated steel body and stainless shackle combination makes this lock appropriate for both indoor and outdoor environments, including coastal or high-humidity settings.
Uses Master Lock Key Blank K1 Box or Ilco Blank M1 TV 320-952 for key duplication. Fits standard hasps, chains, and security hardware accepting a 1.5-inch laminated padlock body.
Installation requires no special tools beyond the hardware being secured, such as a hasp or chain rated for the intended load. Ensure the hasp or anchor point is properly fastened before relying on the padlock for security. For keyed-alike sets, keep a record of the key series to simplify future key duplication at a locksmith or hardware supplier. Do not force the shackle closed on a misaligned hasp, as this can damage the locking mechanism.
