The MASTER LOCK 1175LH is a heavy-duty combination lock built for demanding industrial and commercial environments. It features a dial-style combination interface and a boron carbide shackle, making it significantly more resistant to cutting and sawing than standard steel shackles. The body measures 2 inches high and 2-1/4 inches wide, with a shackle diameter of 3/8 inches and a shackle width of 15/16 inches. The combination is user-resettable, eliminating the need for keys. This lock is typically installed by facilities technicians, utility workers, and site supervisors managing access control in high-risk environments.
The 1175LH is suited for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications. Specified uses include cable boxes, construction sites and equipment, industrial and storefront gates, manufacturing environments, electrical substations, and utility meters. Its compact body profile and robust shackle material make it a practical choice wherever cut-resistance and field-resettable access control are priorities. It is sold individually and fits standard hasps and staples used across these applications.
Designed for use with cable boxes, construction sites and equipment, industrial and storefront business gates, manufacturing environments, electrical substations, and utility meters. Fits standard hasps and locking staples common to these applications.
Installation requires no special tools — thread the shackle through the hasp or staple and close until the locking mechanism engages. Before resetting the combination, follow the manufacturer reset procedure and verify the new combination opens the lock before securing it in the closed position. In utility and substation environments, always follow site lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 before servicing equipment. Confirm the shackle clearance of 2-1/16 inches is sufficient for the hasp or cable diameter in use.
