The Mason Industries HS-X-76 is a spring vibration isolation hanger designed for suspending mechanical equipment and piping in commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems. This hanger uses steel springs to reduce vibration transmission from equipment to the building structure. Steel springs perform more efficiently at larger deflections, meaning isolation improves as the load increases. The HS-X-76 has a minimum deflection of 0.75 inches, which increases as heavier loads are applied. Spring deflection values are 2 to 6 times greater than comparable neoprene-only hangers, making this product a preferred choice when effective vibration isolation is a priority. Neoprene cups are positioned under the springs to prevent sound transmission through the hanger body. A projecting rubber bushing is also included to block sound transmission in cases where the hanger rod is not perfectly centered in the housing. This feature adds tolerance to real-world installation conditions where perfect rod alignment is not always achievable. The hanger accepts a 3/8 inch top screw or rod and carries loads up to 76 pounds, with a full rated load capacity range of 0 to 100 pounds. Maximum deflection reaches 1.02 inches under load. The housing measures 2.5 inches in length, 2.875 inches in width, and 4.25 inches in height. The finish is powder coated paint for durability in mechanical room and ceiling plenum environments. HVAC contractors, mechanical insulators, and building service technicians use spring isolation hangers like the HS-X-76 when hanging fan coil units, air handlers, ductwork, and piping where noise and vibration control is required by specification or building code.
The Mason Industries HS-X-76 delivers reliable spring-based vibration and sound isolation for suspended mechanical systems. It is built for HVAC and plumbing installations where noise control and structural isolation are required.
