The Martin CSW3 is a waste pack seal designed to provide effective sealing for shafts with a diameter of one and a half inches. It utilizes both waste packing and a lip seal for optimal performance. This seal is usually positioned between the trough end and bearing and can also be utilized independently on pedestal type trough ends. The design features an opening at the top, allowing for repacking without the need to remove the seal from the trough end.
