The Marley Engineered Products 2548w is an 8-foot electric baseboard heater rated at 2000 watts at 240 volts and 1504 watts at 208 volts, delivering 6824 BTU/h of convective heat output. Built on the QMark 2500 model platform, it features an aluminum-finned, sheathed-steel heating element with a nickel chromium resistance wire. The steel cabinet carries a polyester powder coat finish in Navajo White. At 250 watts per foot, the 2548w provides consistent heat distribution across the full element length. A licensed electrician installs this unit during new construction or retrofit work in residential and light commercial spaces where primary or supplemental electric heat is required.
The 2548w is suited for residential rooms, offices, and commercial spaces where 208/240-volt single-phase power is available. It functions effectively as a primary heat source in well-insulated spaces or as supplemental heat in cold spots, additions, or areas that central systems struggle to condition. The wall-mount design keeps floor space clear, and the 1/2-inch conduit knockout with 7/8-inch diameter opening accommodates standard NM or conduit wiring methods. The unit accepts a wall thermostat or line-voltage thermostat for zone control.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation baseboard heater within the QMark 2500 model series, compatible with standard 208/240-volt single-phase residential and commercial electrical systems.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. Disconnect and lock out power at the panel before making any wiring connections. The 1/2-inch conduit entry and 7/8-inch knockout diameter must be matched to the supply wiring method used on site. Do not energize the unit without confirming that the supply voltage matches the heater rating and that a compatible line-voltage or wall thermostat is properly wired in the circuit.
