The MARKAL 97263 is a brown liquid paint marker with a bullet tip, designed for marking on rough, uneven, and demanding surfaces. It delivers a durable, high-visibility line on materials that cause conventional markers to skip or fail. The liquid paint formula penetrates surface texture rather than riding on top of it, making it a reliable choice for jobsite identification, part marking, and inspection work. Tradespeople in HVAC, plumbing, pipefitting, and general industrial service use this marker when standard paint sticks or felt-tip markers won't hold up to the substrate or environment.
The 97263 is suited for marking on rusty metal, steel, iron, pipes and tubes, plate stock, non-ferrous metals, rubber, tires, plastic, glass, and ceramic. It performs in fabrication shops, mechanical rooms, and field service environments where surfaces are coated, corroded, or irregular. The bullet tip allows both broad strokes and moderate detail work, making it adaptable to layout lines, part numbers, caution marks, and flow-direction indicators on piping systems.
Designed for use on rusty metal, steel and iron, pipes and tubes, plates, non-ferrous metals, rubber and tires, plastic, glass, and ceramic surfaces.
No installation required. Shake the marker before use to agitate the liquid paint reservoir, then depress the tip on a scrap surface to prime flow before marking. Allow marked surfaces to dry fully before handling or applying tape or coatings over the mark. Store horizontally or tip-down when not in use to maintain tip saturation.
