The MARKAL 96820 is a liquid paint marker designed for general marking across a wide range of industrial and trade surfaces. It uses an alcohol-based ink formula that bonds to both porous and non-porous materials, making it a reliable choice for job site identification, part marking, and material labeling. The bullet tip delivers consistent line width and controlled ink flow. At 0.06 pounds, it is lightweight enough for extended handheld use. Licensed tradespeople and industrial workers across HVAC, plumbing, pipefitting, and general fabrication reach for this marker when a durable, legible mark is required on surfaces that standard markers cannot handle.
The MARKAL 96820 is suited for marking steel, iron, plastic, glass, pipes and tubes, rubber, tires, cloth, and fabric textiles. It fits naturally into pipe labeling, weld joint identification, parts sorting, and pre-installation marking on a wide variety of trade and shop applications. The white ink color provides strong contrast on dark metal surfaces, painted pipe, and black rubber, where standard black or blue markers fail to show clearly.
Designed for general marking use on steel and iron, plastic, glass, pipes and tubes, rubber and tires, and cloth and fabric textiles.
No installation is required for this marker. Before marking pipe or tubing that will be welded or brazed, confirm that the ink type is compatible with the joining process and any applicable code requirements for the work. Store the marker with the cap fully seated to prevent tip drying. Keep away from open flame, as alcohol-based ink is flammable prior to drying.
