The MARKAL 81025 is a hot surface paint stick marker rated for use across a temperature range of 2250 to 11000 degrees F (1070 to 5930 degrees C). It is designed for marking metals and other high-heat materials during industrial processing, fabrication, and heat treatment operations. The marker applies a blue paint stick formula that withstands extreme surface temperatures, making it readable through forging, rolling, and casting workflows. Metallurgists, foundry workers, fabricators, and industrial maintenance technicians use this marker to identify and track workpieces at elevated temperatures where standard marking tools fail.
The MARKAL 81025 is suited for high-temperature industrial environments where workpiece identification must survive direct heat exposure. Typical applications include marking coils, billets, bars, castings, pigs, ingots, plates, rails, beams, and glass during production or processing. The blue color provides visual contrast on common metal surfaces. It is sold individually and is appropriate for both shop floor and field use wherever hot surface marking is required.
Designed for use on coils, billets and bars, castings and pigs, ingots and plates, rails and beams, and glass surfaces in high-temperature industrial and fabrication environments.
This marker is a consumable marking tool, not an installed component. Apply directly to the hot workpiece surface at the temperatures specified. Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including heat-resistant gloves and face shielding, when working near high-temperature materials. Follow facility safety protocols and applicable OSHA standards for hot work and foundry operations.
