Product Description

Malco CD5538 is a braze-on, self-piercing copper saddle valve designed for HVAC/R service use on 3/8 in. outside diameter copper tubing. The saddle is brazed to the line, after which a steel pin with valve core penetrates the tube and is secured by tightening the cap to provide an access/tapping point without fully cutting the tube. Listed weight is approximately 0.34 lbs.
