The MAKITA XT269T is an 18V LXT 2-piece cordless combination kit built for professional-grade fastening and drilling applications. The kit pairs a compact brushless 1/2 inch hammer driver-drill with a brushless impact driver, both running on Makita's 18V LXT Lithium-Ion platform. Brushless motor technology extends motor life, reduces heat buildup, and delivers more runtime per charge compared to brushed alternatives. Two 5.0Ah BL1850B batteries and a Rapid Optimum Charger with a 45-minute charge time are included, along with a tool bag for transport and storage.
This combo kit is designed for licensed contractors, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and other trade professionals who need reliable drilling and driving capability on job sites. The hammer driver-drill handles wood, metal, and masonry fastening and boring tasks, while the brushless impact driver is suited for high-torque fastener driving. The compact drill profile is useful in confined installation spaces such as mechanical rooms, stud bays, and equipment enclosures. Both tools are part of the 18V LXT battery platform, allowing sharing of batteries across a broad range of compatible tools.
Kit includes models XPH12Z (hammer driver-drill) and XDT13Z (impact driver). Batteries (BL1850B) and charger (DC18RC) are compatible with the 18V LXT battery platform. Replacement batteries are sold under part number BL1850B and replacement charger under part number DC18RC.
Both tools should be inspected before use and operated according to applicable OSHA and local jobsite safety requirements. Ensure batteries are fully charged before beginning work, and remove batteries from tools when performing bit or accessory changes. Licensed tradespeople should follow NEC, IPC, or IFGC guidelines as applicable to the fastening or drilling task at hand. Do not exceed the rated capacity of bits or accessories used with either tool.
