The MADISON ELECTRIC MSBRND Smart Box is a screw-on PVC molded ceiling box rated for fixtures up to 50 pounds. Designed for old work and retrofit applications, it installs faster than a nail-on box and removes cleanly without damaging surrounding drywall or finish surfaces. The box is extra deep to accommodate smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, and its extra thick PVC wall construction provides the stability and rigidity needed for a secure fixture mount. Two 1-inch Phillips head fixture support screws are included for attaching light fixtures directly to the box.
