This process results in a tough, hard, porous oxide film, helping to retain cutting oil and reducing friction, which leads to a longer tool life.

This countersink is ideal for various applications including countersinking, chamfering, and deburring. The M.A. Ford 79075002 model features a three-quarter inch diameter body, a half-inch diameter shank, and six flutes that support right-hand cutting. The included angle is eighty-two degrees.
