M.A. Ford HSS countersinks are heat treated in an electronically controlled vacuum furnace. This process ensures precise hardening and eliminates the risk of decarburization. All treatments are conducted in M.A. Ford's facilities for maximum control over hardness and toughness. The Steam homogeneous process provides a hardened cutting edge that remains sharper longer. This process results in a tough, hard, porous oxide film, helping to retain cutting oil and reducing friction, which leads to a longer tool life.
This countersink is ideal for various applications including countersinking, chamfering, and deburring. The M.A. Ford 79075002 model features a three-quarter inch diameter body, a half-inch diameter shank, and six flutes that support right-hand cutting. The included angle is eighty-two degrees.
Designed for effective countersinking and chamfering tasks, the M.A. Ford countersink tool enhances efficiency and tool life.
