The M.A. FORD. CXDCL1360AP is a solid carbide taper length drill bit designed for precision hole-making in demanding materials. It features a 142-degree helical point angle and an ALtima Plus coating that extends tool life in high-wear applications. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 0.1575 inches in diameter, and the flute length-to-diameter ratio of 8xD supports deep-hole drilling with reduced deflection. Coolant-through capability allows internal fluid delivery to the cutting zone, improving chip evacuation and thermal control. This drill is used primarily by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on close-tolerance parts in production or job-shop environments.

This drill bit is suited for drilling cast iron, stainless steel, carbon steel, and titanium. The right-hand spiral flute geometry and helical point promote self-centering and clean entry without a center punch in many setups.
