The M.A. FORD. 92125002 is a single-end, 3-flute countersink designed for chamfering, countersinking, and deburring operations in metalworking and fabrication environments. It features an 82-degree included angle with a 1-1/4 inch head diameter and is manufactured from high-speed steel for reliable performance across a range of materials. The straight cylindrical shank measures 5/8 inch in diameter and the tool runs 3-1/2 inches overall. The bright uncoated finish suits general-purpose applications where coating is not required. This tool is installed and used by machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and maintenance trades working with manual or CNC drilling setups.
This countersink is suited for use on aluminum, brass, magnesium, magnesium alloy, high-nickel steel, Monel, and plastic workpieces. It is appropriate for both production and maintenance applications where a clean, consistent countersunk seat is required. The right-hand cutting direction is standard for use in conventional drill presses, mills, and handheld drilling equipment. No pilot is included, making it a straightforward straight-shank tool ready to chuck directly into a standard collet or drill chuck.
Designed as a direct-mount countersink for use in drill presses, milling machines, and handheld drilling equipment accepting a 5/8 inch straight cylindrical shank. Suitable for chamfering, countersinking, and deburring on aluminum, brass, high-nickel steel, magnesium, magnesium alloy, Monel, and plastic substrates.
Installation is performed by machinists or tool-and-die technicians. Secure the 5/8 inch shank firmly in a collet or drill chuck before use and verify runout before cutting. Always power down and de-energize the machine spindle before changing tooling. Use appropriate cutting fluid or lubricant recommendations for the workpiece material, particularly with Monel and high-nickel steel, to extend tool life.
