The M.A. FORD 79T100002 is a single-end, 6-flute countersink designed for producing clean, accurate 82-degree countersunk holes in a wide range of materials. Manufactured from high-speed steel with a TiN (titanium nitride) coating, this tool delivers extended wear life and reduced friction during cutting operations. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 0.5 inches in diameter, and the overall length is 2.75 inches. With a minimum cutting diameter of 0.25 inches and a maximum cutting diameter of 1 inch, it covers a broad range of fastener head sizes. Machinists and tool-and-die tradespeople install this countersink in manual or CNC drilling setups for precision deburring and seat preparation work.
This countersink is suited for use in general machining, fabrication, and production environments.
