The M.A. FORD. 79075004 is a 6-flute, single-end countersink machined from high-speed steel for chamfering, countersinking, and deburring operations on a wide range of workpiece materials. It features a 100-degree included angle (50-degree centerline angle) and a 3/4-inch head diameter paired with a 1/2-inch straight cylindrical shank. The bright, uncoated finish suits general-purpose shop use where coating is not required. Overall length is 2.75 inches. Machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and CNC setup operators install this tool in standard drill presses, mills, or hand-held drilling equipment when a clean, consistent countersink seat is required.
This countersink is suited for production and job-shop environments where a single tool must handle multiple material types. The 100-degree angle is commonly specified for fastener seating in aerospace-adjacent and general metalworking applications.
