The M.A. FORD 78025006 is a solid carbide countersink designed for chamfering, countersinking, and deburring operations across a wide range of materials. Built with a 120-degree included angle and six flutes, it delivers clean, consistent entry angles in both ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 0.25 inches in diameter, and the tool runs an overall length of 2 inches. Right-hand cutting direction makes it compatible with standard CNC spindles and hand-held drill equipment. The single-end configuration keeps setup simple, and the solid carbide construction provides the rigidity and wear resistance needed for production and job-shop environments.
This countersink is suited for metalworking, fabrication, and machining applications where precise chamfer geometry and burr removal are required. It performs in both manual and CNC-driven setups. Secure the shank fully in the collet or chuck before operation and verify runout before cutting. Use appropriate spindle speeds and feeds for the workpiece material — carbide tools are sensitive to improper feed rates that can cause chipping. Always wear eye protection when operating rotary cutting tools. Inspect the cutting edges for wear or chipping before each use and replace the tool if edge integrity is compromised.
