The M.A. FORD. 61150002 is a single-flute, high-speed steel countersink designed for chamfering, countersinking, and deburring operations in metalworking and fabrication environments. It features an 82-degree included angle with a 41-degree centerline angle, a 1-1/2 inch head diameter, and a 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Overall length is 3-1/2 inches. The bright, uncoated finish suits general-purpose cutting across a wide range of workpiece materials. This tool is installed and used by machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and fabricators working with drill presses, CNC machines, or hand-held power tools.
The 61150002 countersink is suited for both production and maintenance applications where a clean, consistent 82-degree countersink angle is required. The single-flute geometry reduces chatter and produces a smooth finish. The 0.2500 inch tip diameter allows accurate entry without a pilot. Compatible material applications include alloy steel, aluminum, brass, cast iron, high-nickel steel, high-tensile steel, magnesium, magnesium alloy, mild steel, Monel, plastic, and stainless steel, making it a versatile choice across industrial and general shop environments.
Compatible with alloy steel, aluminum, brass, cast iron, high-nickel steel, high-tensile steel, magnesium, magnesium alloy, mild steel, Monel, plastic, and stainless steel workpieces. Designed as an OEM-style single-end countersink accepting a 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank in standard drill press or CNC spindle tooling.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or fabrication technicians. Power down and lock out the spindle before mounting or removing the tool from the chuck or collet holder. Secure the shank fully within the holding device before operation and verify runout before cutting. Follow applicable shop safety standards and machine manufacturer guidelines for feed rate and spindle speed when working with hard or exotic alloys.
