The M.A. FORD. 61125003 is a single-flute, 90-degree countersink designed for chamfering, countersinking, and deburring operations in metal and non-metal materials. Built from high-speed steel (HSS) with a bright, uncoated finish, it suits applications where coating is not required or where regrinding is anticipated. The 1-1/4 inch head diameter and 1/2 inch straight-cylindrical shank make it compatible with standard drill press and milling machine setups. At 3 inches overall length, it provides adequate reach for bench and machine work. The single-flute geometry produces a smooth, chatter-resistant cut across a wide range of workpiece materials, making it a reliable choice for production and maintenance environments.

This tool is installed by a machinist or tool-and-die technician in any machine spindle accepting a 1/2 inch straight shank. Secure the shank fully in the collet or drill chuck before operation, and verify runout before cutting. Always bring the spindle to a stop and isolate machine power before changing or adjusting tooling. Use appropriate cutting fluid for the workpiece material where recommended by shop practice.
