The M.A. FORD. 44375150 is a carbide abrasive bur designed for material removal and finishing operations on non-ferrous metals. Conforming to industry specification SE-3NF, this oval-head bur features a shear tooth style that produces clean cuts with reduced chatter. The 3/8 inch cutting diameter and 5/8 inch length of cut make it well suited for deburring, contouring, and port work in confined areas. The 1/4 inch shank fits standard die grinders and rotary tools. Carbide construction delivers durability across extended use cycles at speeds up to 30,000 RPM.
This bur is intended for use on non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, and similar soft-to-medium alloys. It is a practical choice for machinists, tool and die makers, welding fabricators, and maintenance technicians who need precise material removal in restricted access areas. The oval head profile is effective for blending radii, enlarging holes, and smoothing weld beads. It is sold individually and is compatible with any die grinder or rotary tool accepting a 1/4 inch shank.
Designed for use on non-ferrous metals per the SE-3NF industry specification. Fits any die grinder or rotary tool with a 1/4 inch collet.
Install and remove burs only with the tool fully powered down and the air supply disconnected or the power cord unplugged. Secure the shank completely within the collet and tighten the collet nut to the tool manufacturer's specification before operation. Always verify the tool's maximum RPM rating meets or exceeds the bur's rated speed before use. Wear appropriate eye protection and secure the workpiece before beginning material removal.
