The M.A. FORD 44375027M is a double-cut carbide abrasive bur with an oval head profile, designed for aggressive material removal and contouring in metalworking and fabrication applications. The bur features a 9.50mm cutting diameter, a 16mm length of cut, and a 60mm overall length with a 6mm shank diameter. The uncoated carbide head delivers consistent cutting performance across a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With a maximum rated speed of 30,000 RPM, this bur is suited for use with pneumatic die grinders and high-speed rotary tools. It is installed and used by machinists, tool-and-die workers, fabricators, and maintenance technicians.
This bur is built for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and other hard materials. The oval head shape makes it well-suited for contouring, deburring, and profiling curved or recessed surfaces, including ports, molds, and weld seams. The double-cut tooth pattern produces a smoother finish than single-cut geometry and reduces chatter during high-speed operation. It is a practical choice for both production shop environments and field maintenance work where precision material removal is required.
Meets industry specification SE-3M-D. Designed as a standard replacement or direct-use carbide bur for die grinders and rotary tools accepting a 6mm shank. Suitable for machining, fabrication, and maintenance applications on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and other hard materials.
Install and use this bur only in a die grinder or rotary tool rated to accept a 6mm shank and capable of operating at the required RPM. Secure the shank fully into the collet and tighten per the tool manufacturer specification before operation. Always wear appropriate eye protection and work gloves when operating rotary cutting tools. Do not exceed the 30,000 RPM maximum rating, and inspect the bur for damage or wear before each use.
