The M.A. FORD. 3MVR0938R.015AH is a solid carbide corner radius end mill head designed for high-performance milling operations. This 3-flute tool features a right-hand cutting direction with a right-hand flute spiral, variable index, and variable helix geometry. These characteristics reduce harmonic vibration during cutting, improve chip evacuation, and extend tool life in demanding applications. The corner radius end type protects the cutting edge from chipping and improves surface finish at part corners. With a length of cut of 0.2810 inches, this head suits finishing and semi-finishing passes where edge integrity is critical. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals use this head in modular end mill systems.
This end mill head is suited for precision machining in metalworking environments, including mold and die work, aerospace component finishing, and general CNC milling. The solid carbide construction handles harder workpiece materials and maintains dimensional accuracy under elevated cutting speeds. The corner radius geometry makes it particularly effective when machining pockets, slots, or profiles where sharp internal corners are not acceptable and a controlled radius is required. Compatible with modular end mill systems that accept this head style and size.
Designed for use with modular end mill tooling systems that accept this head style and corresponding shank interface. Confirm shank system compatibility before ordering.
Installation and tool changes must be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle at a complete stop and the machine in a locked-out state per applicable safety procedures. Use the appropriate torque wrench and interface tool specified by the modular tooling system manufacturer when seating the head. Inspect the mating shank interface for chips, burrs, or wear before assembly. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and cutting condition.
