The M.A. FORD. 2XDCR1360A is a solid carbide jobber length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding materials. It carries a wire gauge size of 29 (0.1360 inch decimal) and features a 142-degree drill point angle optimized for entry accuracy in tough workpiece materials. The ALtima coating extends tool life in high-heat applications. With an overall length of 3.15 inches and a flute length of 1.26 inches, this bit delivers a 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio. A straight-cylindrical shank measures 5/32 inch (0.1562 inch decimal) for secure chuck engagement. Right-hand cut with a regular spiral flute pattern rounds out the geometry. Installation is performed by machinists and tool-room technicians working in metalworking and manufacturing environments.
This drill bit is rated for use in high-temperature alloys and materials classified under workpiece material codes H, M, and S, which include hardened steels, stainless steels, and superalloys.
