The M.A. FORD. 2XDCL2638A is a taper length solid carbide drill bit engineered for precision drilling in demanding industrial and trade applications. Built to 6.7 mm (0.2638 inch) diameter with a 142-degree split point, it reduces walking on entry and generates cleaner hole geometry. The TiN coating extends tool life by reducing friction and heat buildup at the cutting edge. Coolant-through construction delivers cutting fluid directly to the tip, making this bit well-suited for deep-hole work where chip evacuation and thermal control are critical. Machinists, toolroom technicians, and CNC operators are the primary installers of this tool.

This drill bit is designed for taper length applications in materials including cast iron, titanium, carbon steel, steel, and tool steel. The 7xD flute length-to-diameter ratio and 60 mm flute length support extended reach without sacrificing rigidity. The straight cylindrical shank at 8.00 mm diameter seats securely in standard drill chucks and collet holders. Compatibility

Installation Notes
