It carries a 4.5 mm (0.1772 inch) diameter and features a 142-degree drill point angle optimized for flat-bottomed entry and reduced thrust. The TiN coating extends tool life by increasing surface hardness and reducing friction. With a 7xD flute-length-to-diameter ratio, this bit maintains rigidity while reaching deeper bore depths than standard jobber-length drills. Coolant-through capability allows cutting fluid to be delivered directly to the cutting edge, improving chip evacuation and heat management.
