The M.A. FORD 27925010B is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. Built to Series 279 standards, it features a 1/4 inch diameter with a 3/4 inch length of cut and a 2-1/2 inch overall length. The 4-flute geometry runs in a right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction, while a variable helix design of 35 and 38 degrees reduces chatter and improves chip evacuation. The ALtima Blaze coating enhances wear resistance and heat dissipation, extending tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials alike. This single-end mill is sized for precision work on CNC machining centers and manual mills used in tool-and-die, mold, and general metalworking applications.
This end mill is suited for profiling, slotting, and contouring operations where a ball nose geometry is required to produce curved or blended surfaces.
