Built to wire size 33, it produces a finished bore diameter of 0.1130 inches with a tight tolerance of +0.0001/+0.0003 inches, making it suitable for close-tolerance fits and dowel or pin bores where accuracy is critical. The straight flute geometry provides clean, consistent material removal in through-hole applications, and the right-hand cutting direction pairs with standard spindle rotation. At 2.25 inches overall length with a 0.625-inch flute, this is a compact tool sized for short-reach finish reaming on the bench, knee mill, or CNC machining center.
This reamer is intended for use in metalworking applications where hole size and finish are held to close tolerances. The straight shank mounts directly in a drill chuck, collet, or floating reamer holder. Typical applications include production reaming of small-diameter bores in steel, aluminum, brass, and other machinable alloys. Chucking reamers should be installed and operated by qualified machinists familiar with cutting tool setup and machine operation. Ensure the spindle and workpiece are fully stopped and power is off before installing or removing the tool from the holder. Use a floating holder where possible to prevent side loading on the carbide shank, which is brittle and susceptible to breakage under lateral force. Apply appropriate cutting fluid for the workpiece material to control heat and extend tool life.
