The M.A. FORD. 22918110 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in non-ferrous metals and similar materials. Built to DIN 6537 L standards, this bit features a 150-degree drill point angle and a three-flute parabolic design that promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduced cutting resistance. The overall length is 74 mm (approximately 2.91 inches) with a 36 mm (approximately 1.42 inches) flute length. The 6 mm (approximately 0.24 inches) straight-cylindrical shank provides secure clamping in standard drill chucks or collet holders. It is web-thinned at the tip for easier entry and reduced thrust force. This bit is appropriate for machine shop technicians, metalworking tradespeople, and precision maintenance professionals.
The 22918110 is suited for production and maintenance drilling operations in non-ferrous metal workpieces, including aluminum, brass, copper, and similar materials designated under material code N and O.
