It measures 7/64 inches (0.1094 inches decimal) in diameter with a 118-degree faceted drill point and a 2-1/4 inch overall length. The bright, uncoated carbide construction delivers rigidity and wear resistance in applications where high-speed steel would deflect or dull prematurely. A right-hand spiral flute with web-thinned, tapered web geometry reduces thrust at entry and promotes chip evacuation. This bit suits machinists, fabricators, and maintenance technicians working on ferrous and non-ferrous stock.
This drill bit is rated for general-purpose use across a range of workpiece materials including cast iron, non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, and carbon steel. Its 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and regular spiral type make it well-suited for through-holes and spot-drilling in production or job-site environments. The straight-cylindrical shank fits standard drill chucks without adapters, making it compatible with benchtop drill presses, CNC machining centers, and hand-held drill drivers where carbide tooling is appropriate.
