The M.A. FORD 20020550 is a solid carbide, straight-flute die drill bit engineered for precision holemaking in demanding materials. At 0.2055 inches in diameter (Wire Size 5), it features a 135-degree split point that reduces walking and lowers thrust force on entry. The uncoated carbide construction handles heat and abrasion better than HSS in hard and abrasive workpiece materials. With a 2.0-inch overall length and a 0.75-inch flute length, this bit is suited for short, accurate holes in toolroom, die, and mold work. Right-hand cutting direction. Web-thinned geometry improves chip evacuation and reduces torque demand at the spindle.
