The M.A. FORD. 20015750 is a solid carbide straight-flute die drill bit designed for precision holemaking in demanding industrial applications. Built to DIN standards, this uncoated carbide bit features a 135-degree split point and web-thinned geometry that reduces thrust force and improves centering at entry. The 0.1575-inch (4.00 mm) diameter makes it well suited for tight-tolerance work where dimensional accuracy is critical. Diameter tolerance is held to +0.0000 to -0.0005 inches. With a 2-flute right-hand cutting configuration and no coolant-through design, it is straightforward to run on conventional drill presses, CNC machining centers, and die-making equipment.
This bit is intended for holemaking in a broad range of workpiece materials including cast iron, steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, austenitic stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, titanium, high-temperature alloys, hardened materials, ceramics, and glass. Its overall length of approximately 2.008 inches (51.00 mm) and flute length of approximately 0.630 inches (16.00 mm) suit it to short-reach, high-precision drilling tasks common in toolroom, die shop, and precision machining environments.
