The tool carries an ALtima AlTiN PVD coating that improves heat and wear resistance at the cutting edge. At 2.5 inches overall length with a 3/4 inch length of cut, this is a long-series single-end tool suited for close-pitch finishing and roughing passes. A licensed machinist or CNC tooling specialist installs this into a compatible straight-bore toolholder.
