The M.A. FORD. 17737502A is a single-end, corner radius end mill ground from solid carbide and coated with an AlTiN (ALtima PVD) finish. It measures 3/8 inches in diameter with a 3/8-inch length of cut, a 2-inch overall length, and a 3/8-inch straight-cylindrical shank. The corner radius is 0.015 inches (1/64 inch). A variable helix ranging from 35 to 38 degrees improves chip evacuation and reduces chatter across a range of cut conditions. The tool is center-cutting and handles both roughing and finishing operations. Licensed machinists and CNC operators install and run this tool in milling machines and machining centers.
