The M.A. FORD 16912500R.020F is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling across a broad range of workpiece materials. Built on the Series 169 platform, it features a 1/8 inch diameter, a 0.02 inch corner radius, and three flutes with a 30-degree medium helix. The Fordlube PVD coating reduces friction and extends tool life in demanding applications. Centercutting geometry allows plunge entry, and the right-hand flute and cutting direction suit conventional CNC machining setups. At 0.019 pounds, this compact tool fits standard 1/8 inch straight-cylindrical toolholders. It is intended for machinists and CNC operators working in production or job shop environments.
This end mill is suited for short-reach milling operations with a 1/4 inch length of cut and 1/4 inch reach length on a 1-1/2 inch overall length shank. Normal pitch and spiral flute geometry support both roughing and finishing passes. The Fordlube coating makes it effective in ferrous and non-ferrous materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It is designed as a single-end tool used with a standard toolholder in CNC milling machines and machining centers.
Designed for use with standard toolholders accepting a 1/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Suitable for CNC milling applications in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metal, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials as specified by M.A. FORD Series 169.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Power down and lock out the spindle before installing or removing the tool from the toolholder. Verify runout and toolholder clamping torque per the toolholder manufacturer specifications before engaging the workpiece. Do not exceed the tool diameter tolerance range of +0.0000 to -0.0020 inches when selecting fit-critical applications.
