The M.A. FORD. 13875006 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in metalworking and machining applications. With a 3/4 inch mill diameter, a 2-1/4 inch length of cut, and a 5 inch overall length, this single-end tool delivers consistent performance in demanding cutting environments. The 3-flute geometry with a 36-degree spiral helix angle balances chip evacuation and surface finish. The uncoated carbide construction makes it well suited for non-ferrous metal cutting where coating adhesion or heat buildup is not a primary concern. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation follow standard CNC and manual milling machine conventions. Licensed machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary users of this end mill.
This end mill is intended for use on non-ferrous metals as its primary workpiece material, including aluminum, brass, copper, and similar alloys. The centercutting design allows for direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole, expanding versatility in slotting, profiling, and pocket milling operations. The straight cylindrical shank with h6 shank diameter tolerance ensures a secure fit in standard collet chucks and end mill holders on both CNC machining centers and manual vertical mills. Installation and operation should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with milling machine setup and cutting tool safety. Verify that collet or holder bore matches the 3/4 inch shank diameter and that the tool is torqued to the holder manufacturer's specification. Follow all applicable shop safety protocols, including proper RPM selection for the workpiece material and tool diameter before initiating a cut.
