The M.A. FORD 13875004F is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in metalworking and machining applications. This single-end mill features a 3/4-inch cutting diameter with a 1-5/8-inch length of cut and a 4-inch overall length. The micrograin carbide substrate provides the rigidity and edge retention needed for consistent dimensional accuracy. A Titanium Diboride (TiB2) coating reduces friction and extends tool life when cutting non-ferrous materials. With three right-hand helical flutes at a 36-degree helix angle, the tool promotes efficient chip evacuation during high-feed passes. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry directly into the workpiece.
This end mill is engineered primarily for non-ferrous metal applications, including aluminum, brass, copper, and similar materials where sharp edges and low friction coatings deliver the best surface finish and longest tool life. The straight-cylindrical shank with an h6 tolerance fits standard ER and side-lock toolholders used in CNC machining centers and manual mills. It suits job shops, production machining environments, and maintenance facilities where tight tolerances and clean finishes are required on non-ferrous components. Installation and use require a qualified machinist operating appropriate CNC or manual milling equipment.
Designed as an OEM-specification solid carbide end mill for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines accepting a 3/4-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece material classification is non-ferrous metal (Material Code N).
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer guidelines for toolholder torque and runout. Power down and lock out the spindle before seating or removing the end mill from the toolholder. Verify shank seating depth and runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut. Never exceed the recommended cutting parameters for the workpiece material and machine spindle rating.
